Yeah, shame I have to run it through Jbridge vsyi. The MPC60 presets on drums is choice I said great a weird amount. SodaSynth is a pristine, clean sounding synth that's easy to layer and mix.
It can be educational to synthesize your own kicks in order to learn something and understand the anatomy of well crafted kicks that you like. Adds the loudness of OTT without the colorisation. Glad someone found it helpful. I'm not sure, I bought it outright, it's pretty affordable at 18 USD. A great starting point for people who shape their synth sound more outside of the synth than within.
Came here for TAL chorus. On piano and pads is impressive.
It works alright until it's the end of the process and I realise I'd like to change the pitch envelope. Without really good acoustics it can be hard work nailing a subby and punchy kick drum.
Anything else worth bazzim to? I use this on synths, drums, etc, all the time now instead of multiband bazzixm. The kicks I use will be either samples or field recordings that I've processed but Bazzism is capable of generating a very powerful and cutting low end that sounds wonderful.
Been on every project of mine for ten years. Great for shaping any sound. That said I've grown to really love the sound, and when I'm working in breakbeat songs, I'll sometimes actually start with it.

You can do crazy shit with that thing. However it takes long times to master it properly. Zebra 2 is overlooked considering what an absolute workhorse that thing is.
Would love to read up on that. I often find myself experimenting with variously tuned kicks in breakbeat songs and that experimentation is really slowed down when I have to open up the plugin window each time I want to try something different.
